- Holds a BSc, MPhil, and PhD in Physiology, having completed his Master’s and PhD at the University of Ghana Medical School, Ghana
- Completed a postdoctoral position in hematology at the University of Washington in Seattle,

- Founded the Greenhills School of Health Science (GSHS), a private health training institution in Accra, Ghana, established around 2008
