  • Established and led a pioneering private health training institution that became the first in Ghana to train and graduate locally certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Founder & Medical Director Greenhills Medical Center – Accra, Ghana 2008–2023

 

  • Established a private medical center to serve dual purposes: (1) provide accessible, quality primary and rehabilitative care to underserved communities, and (2) function as a dedicated clinical training site for students of Greenhills School of Health Sciences.
  • Supervised hands-on clinical practicum for students in physiotherapy, medical laboratory science, and healthcare, integrating academic theory with community-based patient care.
  • Directed multidisciplinary services in general medicine, diagnostics, and allied health, serving over 3,000 patients annually across a range of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Led community health outreach programs and mobile clinics in collaboration with international partners including George Fox University (USA), delivering free care to patients with cerebral palsy, stroke, arthritis, and neuromuscular disorders.

Founder & CEO Greenhills Stroke Rehabilitation Center – Accra, Ghana August 2013 – August 2022

 

    • Launched Ghana’s first privately established stroke rehabilitation center with a mission to fill the critical gap in post-acute neurorehabilitation services, especially for underserved populations.
    • Designed and led a multidisciplinary rehabilitation model integrating physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and caregiver education.
    • Created structured clinical placement pathways for students from Greenhills School of Health Sciences, enabling supervised hands-on learning in neurorehabilitation.
    • Oversaw clinical care for patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injury, delivering over 1,200 patient sessions annually.
    • Collaborated with visiting faculty and professionals from international institutions (e.g., George Fox University) to implement free stroke clinics and skills exchange workshops.
    • Championed public awareness campaigns and caregiver training programs to support community-based stroke recovery and reintegration.
    • Advanced rehabilitation protocols in resource-limited settings using adaptive equipment, home-based therapy models, and patient-centered goal planning.

Founder & Clinical Director Greenhills Back Pain Center – Accra, Ghana 2014–2022

 

      • Founded a specialized pain management and rehabilitation center to address the growing burden of musculoskeletal disorders especially lower back pain, neck pain, and spinal dysfunction within the Ghanaian population.
      • Designed and implemented evidence-based, non-surgical treatment protocols combining physiotherapy, posture correction, ergonomic counseling, and patient education.
      • Served as a key clinical training site for physiotherapy and occupational therapy students from Greenhills School of Health Sciences, enabling case-based learning in spine rehabilitation.
      • Led multidisciplinary care teams focused on chronic pain reduction and functional recovery using individualized care plans and low-cost adaptive technologies.
      • Coordinated public health campaigns on posture, lifting techniques, and workplace ergonomics to reduce preventable spinal injuries in the community.
      • Organized annual outreach events and free spine screening clinics in partnership with local churches, markets, and employers, expanding access to early intervention for at-risk populations.
